DARTMOOR PONY SOCIETY

Please be aware that there is only one pony Breed Society on Dartmoor. This is the Dartmoor Pony Society which represents and holds the stud book for the Pedigree pony which is recognized by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust.

The Hill Pony Association and the Friends of the Dartmoor Hill ponies represent the unregistered Hill Ponies and have no connection to the Dartmoor Pony Society. Any articles appearing in the media which either state or give the impression that they have any connection with the Dartmoor Pony Society are misleading and untrue.

The Dartmoor Pony Society is the sole representative of the Pedigree Dartmoor Pony on Dartmoor and is the Mother Society of the breed worldwide. All enquires regarding the pedigree pony should be refered to the Registered Office:
